“I contracted with C. Albert Matthews to replace my upstairs HVAC system with the Carrier GreenSpeed system. Mr. Leonard Patchett told me that he would try to get the system installed and running all in one day to minimize the disruption and accommodate my work schedule. Right on time on the appointed day, SIX trucks rolled down my driveway. Led by Leonard and David Webb, everyone started in on their respective tasks. The dismantling and removal of the old system went like clockwork while the setup for the new system was underway. There were challenges that required “Webby” to make a couple of shop runs while the work continued to keep things moving along. From the beginning, the talk was always to get the job done that day. Eventually, it got down to the Inside 2-man team (air handler) and the Outside 2-man team (compressor) led by David Webb. These men worked diligently and with purpose to “get ‘er done” and did so! I happen to overhear that overtime had been authorized so as to be able to complete all work that day and to a man, they all agreed to stay. Refrigerant line placement on the outside of my house was positioned as per my request and I was kept in the loop about all aspects of the job that required my input. While the cleanup was taking place, the system was tested and explained to me. When the Team left that evening the system was purring away! I felt compelled to thank each man personally before he left that day for the special effort I received. Well done guys!!”
